Oceans were one of the many areas which were left out of this week Paris agreements on tackling climate change.
Although the event centred around tackling rising tempratures, the talks, and decisions did not seem to reach an agreement to tackle the problems our oceans face. Things such as; pollution in ocean, waste, oil spilage, and many other things. What the Paris agreement did come to an agreement on, was that tempratures shouls be reduced so that habitats such as forests, and oceans can absorb Co2 emissions. However, not tackling the problems which face oceans means that we are semi sort of tackling climate change. This is because oceans, just like forests, are extremley important for us, and animals. Without healthy oceans, we do not have a healthy planet. One of the main problems facing oceans is there oxygen level, and the drop of oxygen in oceans. This means that our oceans can become unihabitable for all types of marine life. Another major problem for the worlds oceans are the excessive amount of human waste which is dumped into oceans world wild. |

If we are to be serious about climate change, then it means that we have to be serious about how healthy our oceans are. Being concerned about our oceans health, means that we must find ways of stopping human rubbish being dumped in oceans (to be recycled), and, we must make sure that the oceans are safe habitats for the wild marine animals who live in them.
