Disney made a film about the Jungle Book back in1967, in animation form.
This film, even though it has live action in it, it also hasanimation at its core. The animation part of this new version of the Jungle Book sends a powerful message. It sends the message that we do not need to use real animals in film (or TV, for that matter).
The animals in the film are entirely made from CGI. Therefore, we can be sure that no animals were harmed during the making of this film.
We should not use animals in TV or film. This is because animals are known to be mistreated when they are used for TV and film. They can be locked in cages for long periods or time. Or, and, they are whipped, or refused food, if they do not perform what they 'should' be performing.
For many animals, being used for TV and films is just not natural. This would be especially true if real animals were used for the Jungle Book.
The new Jungle Book film shows us that we can, and should, use animation for TV and film. Instead of using real animals.
