ABOUT
Hello, My name is Jennifer, and welcome to my site and blog. I started Action For Earth back in April 2012. I started this site with nothing more than a passion for animal rights and a desire to do something to protect wildlife and the environment.
That was my initial goal in setting up this site, to help animals and to help preserve wildlife. Because they are the two things that I am most passionate about.
Since then, I've started to share cats on death row. Something I stumbled upon accidentally on Twitter, from another user retweeting the cats. Since then, I've dedicated almost every night to sharing these cats, with the aim of saving them.
During the past three years, I have also help look after three disabled cats. One called Miraculous. One called merlin. And the other called Florence. Each at different times.

The picture to the left is Florence. :)
I believe strongly that animals who are sick or disabled can have a good life, they can have a happy life. And, there is a myth that sick or disabled animals are beyond hope of a good or happy life, they are not. So, part of what I want my work to focus on, is erasing the stigma which surrounds animals like Florence, disabled animals. These animals are too easily given up on, even by 'animal charites.' But animals with conditions can have a good quality of life, they can have a happy life. I have seen it, and experienced it. |
I am glad that you are following my blog. And supporting it. That means a lot to me. It also is inspiring the other people out there who follow my blog, and help animals. Every night when people dedicate their free time to share death row animals, I find it heartwarming and hopeful.
I'd also love to here from you. if you have an article idea, you can submit it in the contact section. I will happily look over it, and post it if it is relevant - put your name at the bottom, and you'll be given credit for it.
Thank you for supporting my blog, it really means a lot to me. I hope that we can work together to help save animals, and wildlife! :)
