There are many ways that you can help animals, which creates a kinder, more compssionate lifestyle. Here are some tips that you can help animals this year (they don't all include changing your diet).
1. Go vegetarian or vegan
This is the way most people go to help animals. Or, what most people think of when you say to them 'help animals'.
Going vegetarian, or vegan isn't easy, for the first while. It does take some getting used to, a couple of months, but, once you pass that mark it just becomes like a habit. Rather than going all in, you could become vegetarian, or vegan gradually - it would probably be a lot easier that way.
There are many great vegan, and vegetarian starter packs online!
Another good idea to help animals is to buy cosmetics, and household products which are cruelty free. If a product is cruelty free, vegetarian or vegan, often it will say on it. Usually such products have a bunny logo on it, with a BUAV sign.
Millions of animals each year are used in tests for cosmetics, and household products, unecessarily. By changing to cruelty free products it helps animals, and when enough people do it, companies have to change to a more cruelty free product and company.
3) Entertainment
Many animals around the world are used as objects for ''entertainment''. Most, if not all of these animals have a horrible life, they are forced into performing tricks, if they do not some are beaten, others are denied food, and water.
With so many other forms of entertainment, we don't need to use animals as entertainment.
Leather and fur are produced in such horrific ways. Especially fur. But, there is no need for this. There are synthetics of both leather, and fur, that are just as good products.
You really can't tell the diffrence between real leather, and fake leather, or real fur, and fake fur.
