There have been an increase in Coyote sightings across the United States this winter.
The Portland Coyote Project has said that Coyote sightings have increased in urban areas this winter, throughout the US.
Coyotes have increased in urban areas right across the country. For example, there have been many sightings of Coyotes in places such as Ohio.
The reported sightings of Coyotes has also increased concern as fear of attacks on humans and pets unfold.
However, such fears could also lead to a persecution of Coyotes. They are already persecuted in the United States, as people hunt Coyotes.
The increase of Coyote numbers in urban areas is through no fault of their own, as their habitat shrinks, the animals are forced into urban areas.
This is something echoed around the world. For example, Tigers are being forced into urban areas in India, because their habitat is being destroyed.
