Europes unseasonal warm weather is hvaing a knock on affect to nature, plants, and wild animals.
The warm weather has seen plants which would normally appear in Spring time, such as daffodils, bloom early. What this will mean for animals such as bees when spring does arrive, is unclear. Will it be even warmer in spring, when we will see summer tempratures? How will it effect pollunation and bees? This year has seen the warmest ever winter in Europe. A lot of animals are behaving as if spring has finally arrived. So too are plants, trees and flowers. A tree which is out in full blow is the Cheery Tree, which does not usually bloom until the spring. The events are surely a case of global warming. If it continues, then the balance of the natural world could tip; where things such as bird migration are haulted, or disturbed. With global temperatures on the rise, it seems as if this will be a thing of the future. |
